Northern Ireland Forklift Training
To safely operate a forklift, operators will need to have completed a Northern Ireland Forklift Training Course.
For Novices, this is usually a 3 day forklift training course. It can be less than 3 days for more experienced operators, with refresher courses also available for operators who hold a forklift certification.
Legal Requirement
Health and Safety at Work legislation places requirements on Northern Ireland employers to ensure that all employees who operate work equipment such as forklift trucks, have received adequate training.
Whilst there is no legal requirement for operators to possess forklift certification, training employees provides evidence that they have received relevant training and can demonstrate an appropriate level of ability.
How is our Northern Ireland Forklift Training Course delivered?
Our approved forklift training courses are delivered at your premises and courses have 1 trainer and a maximum of 3 candidates. At the end of the course, forklift certification is issued to evidence safe operation of the machine.
The course gives candidates an understanding of safe standards of operation and teaches the skills and knowledge needed to operate a forklift truck safely.
